It's Show Time!
The 108th and 109th annual Detroit Kennel Club Dog Shows will be held on Saturday and Sunday, March 3 & 4, 2012. The shows are held at the Cobo Center, One Washington Blvd, in downtown Detroit, Michigan and are one of only five benched shows left in the US. When dogs are not being judged, they are required by the rules of the show to be on their assigned benches, allowing visitors access to breeders, owners, handlers and dogs from the 167 breeds and varieties recognized by the American Kennel Club. Dogs are benched from 9AM to 5PM on Saturday and Sunday from 9AM to 4PM. The best time to visit is between 9AM and 4PM. Specific breed judging times and benching areas will be found in the Judging Program approximately one week before the show.
